Richard Romero Obituary

March 3, 2024 Heaven gained another resident, Richard J. Romero aka "Rick, Ricky, Stick".
Richard was a loving father, son, husband, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was quite the jokester who could always make you laugh. He was loving and caring and would do anything for you.
Richard moved to Tucson, Arizona where he became a long haul trucker, owned and operated his own truck for many years and loved it.
He surely will be missed and I'm sure he's already playing his best round of golf now. I hope they brought their wallets cuz he loved to gamble.
Richard leaves behind his daughter Amy Romero his two granddaughters Trinity and Ciera, and grandson Kaiden who he loved dearly; his mother Barbara A. Liberty who he adored and enjoyed his late morning coffees with. He also leaves behind his brother Jerry E. Romero; his sister Kimberly A Warren; his family down in the southern states; his father Lewis Romero; brother William Romero; sister Sarah Romero-Lariscy; his niece Heather Grafton, and his nephew Jason Romero. Richard was predeceased by his wife Margaret Pesqueira Romero who he missed and longed for daily; his granddaughter Brianna, grandmother Vera Makin, and niece Shannon.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 6, from 2pm-5pm at the VFW John Ryan Post 1767, 6 Maple St., Winooski, VT. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Richard, please visit our Tree Store.
