Preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Mary Sue; his parents, Sigmond and Dorothy; brother, Vic Sabo and brothers-in-law, Pat Quinn and Paul Fronk.
He is survived by his children, Richard (Courtney) Sabo, Thomas Sabo, Joseph Sabo and Molly (Brian) Beck; grandchildren, Christopher and Carley Sabo, Evan and Savannah Sabo and Sydney and Ellie Beck; sisters, Dee Fronk, Mary (Ron) Nelson and brother, Terry (Paula) Sabo; sisters-in-law, Alice (Robert) Croce and Paulette Quinn; brother-in-law, Thomas(Fran) Quinn. Many friends, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Barry George and the amazing staff at Knox Community Hospital.
He lived a loved and joyful life with many friends and family and will be deeply missed.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church 313 North State Street, Westerville. Burial will conclude in Resurrection Cemetery.

Dick will be sadly missed. Dana and I have so many memories of great times with Dick. Spending time on his boat dock having fish fries and congregating with his many friends and family. Dick had a wonderful sense of humor. Obviously he had a lot of smart friends because he called everyone "genius". Dick and Mary are reunited again! Piece to Dicks family
