Richard Smith Obituary
Richard L. Smith of Colonial Road passed away at home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was 77.
Born in Cobleskill on September 3, 1948, son of the late Arthur L. and Helen Goldie (Banks) Smith.
He retired as a corrections officer from Downstate Prison in Fishkill. He also worked as a driver for Cintas and Lightning Express.
Survivors include his children, Keith (Regina) Smith and Jared Smith, his beloved grandchildren Katelynn Smith, Cassandra Smith, Alyssia (Sean) Rodriguez, Chianne Smith, Tristen Smith and Alivia Smith as well as a great grandchild Quentin Rotolo.
He is predeceased by a son, Ronnie Smith and his siblings Alan Smith, Donald Smith, Bruce Smith and Roger Smith.
Services for Richard will be private and at the convenience of his family.
