Stillwater, NY – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amy Heller, who tragically left us on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital while giving birth to her son, Adam, who also passed away during birth. Amy was 36 years old.
Born on July 7, 1989, in San Fernando, Philippines, Amy was the beloved daughter of Alberto and Myrna (Barnido) Macaspac and the devoted wife of Amir Heller. She was a brave, selfless woman who always put her family first, caring for them with unwavering love and gentle strength. Quiet and shy, Amy had a generous heart and was always ready to help others. She was filled with joy and anticipation for the arrival of her son, and her home radiated warmth and support.
Amy is survived by her loving husband Amir, her parents Alberto and Myrna, her two cherished daughters Ella and Hanna, her brothers Albert and Alvin, and dear friends Dianne, Carmelita, and Aligin. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
Service Details:
Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Ave., Stillwater, NY.
A funeral home service will follow at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow in Stillwater Union Cemetery.
