On Sunday afternoon, June 23, Rick (Richard F. Spencer) left this earth to go be with the Lord. Rick attended Guardian Angels Elementary, Xavier High School, University of Cincinnati and Chase Law School. Rick was 74 yrs old and retired from his second career as an insulator. In his early years, Rick was a criminal law attorney. He suffered a devastating fall on Sunday, June 16, which left him completely paralyzed and unable to breathe on his own. He will be remembered as a happy, funny fellow with an astounding wealth of knowledge! He passed with his wife Sharon, sister Jane (Spencer Pirman), and friend Keesha, by his side. He also leaves behind his sister Dianne Durfey of Columbus, GA, his niece Caroline Borkat, also of Columbus, GA, nephew Daniel Henson of Montgomery, TX, and niece Kate Stutler of Bullard, TX. Also survived by great nieces Frannie, Georgia and Etta & great nephews Jacob, Alex, and Augie.
A Memorial Service will be held, Monday, July 1, 2024, at 7:30pm at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 6pm-7:30pm.
