Richard L. “Dick” Tucker, 90, of Carmel, IN, passed away peacefully January 24, 2024. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing. Richard was born November 7, 1933, in Indianapolis, IN. He graduated from Lawrence Central High School. He was an Air Force and Korean War Veteran.
After retiring from Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, Richard served as Commander at the Carmel American Legion and was a beloved lifetime member of the Carmel VFW.
A celebration of life service is planned for Saturday, February 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Carmel VFW 12863 Old Meridian St. Carmel, IN 46032. The service will begin with military honors at 2:00 pm. In leu of flowers, Richard would be honored if you made a donation in his name to the VFW.org.
Richard is survived by his children and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janalynn “Jannie” Tucker.
