Richard Lewis Woodhull

Richard (Rick) Woodhull of Maple Grove, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2023 at the age of 66. He will be warmly remembered as a father, grandfather, brother, friend, and servant of God.
Rick was born in Wisconsin on December 29, 1956. He lost his parents at a young age and always dreamed of having a family of his own. After serving in the Army, he married his late wife Sandy Woodhull in 1980. They were married for 41 happy years. They had two sons together, who were a source of pride and joy to them both. Rick was a dedicated father and worked tirelessly to provide for his family.
Rick will be remembered for his varied hobbies. An avid musician, he played the saxophone and guitar, and he recorded Christmas music with members of the Woodhull family. He enjoyed the outdoors and would often ride his e-bike, take long walks, or boat around his home on Eagle Lake. He loved to tinker with cars and would say "a man must be king over his oil changes." Additionally, he ran a Thursday night Bible study for friends and family. Recently, he was traveling more to spend extended time with his grandchildren.
Rick is survived by his son Spencer (Halah), his grandsons Adam and Jude, his son Tyler (Emily), his brothers Donnie and Woody, and his extended family and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandy, his parents Orville and Alice, his sisters Alice and Diane.
