Ricky Wayne Rich, Jr., 37, of New York, passed away, Sunday, December 1, 2024.
Born August 19, 1987, in Guilford County, he was a son of Nola Tysinger and the late Ricky Wayne Rich, Sr. He graduated from Trinity High School and was of Pentecostal faith. Ricky loved his two sons, was very poetic and loved listening to music. He was very energetic, artistic and loved working with his hands. He was a humble person with a big heart, and definitely a "Mama's Boy".
He is survived by his mother, Nola Tysinger of Lexington; sons, Cameron Ray Rich and Anthony Isaac Rich, both of Denton; brother, Joshua Cody Rich of High Point; sister, Brandy Michelle Shambley of High Point; and fiancé, Giovanna Mercado of New York; the mother of his two sons, Tiffany M. Owens; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Renee Rich.
There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
Wright Funerals-Cremations, Archdale, is in charge of arrangements.
