Rita Mary Baranski

Rita Mary Baranski, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at the age of 81. Rita was born in Toledo, Ohio, May 6, 1944 to Donald and Portia (VanNatta) Hampton. Rita dedicated many years of her life to the banking industry, working for First National and later Fifth Third Bank, where her passion for research and adjustment shone through in her work. Despite the challenges she faced in life, Rita's resilience and determination left a lasting impact on her family and friends.

Rita is survived by her sons, Tim (Brenda) Baranski, Gregg (Melanie) Baranski, and Jaime (Gabriel) Baranski; grandchildren, Bryon (Sonya) Baranski, Jade (Amanda) Baranski, , Taylor (Jon) Scherling, Tanner Baranski, Shelby Baranski, Logan Baranski, and Carlie Baraanski; great-grandchildren, Bradon, Cooper, Macie, Jackson, Addiemae, Elliot, and Atlas; sisters, Donna Johansen, Dorothy Johansen, Ruthie Muszynski, Joyce Macek, and Shirley Roth; along with many loving family members and friends. Rita was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Helen Campbell, Richard Hampton, Judy Kerchevall, Donald Hampton.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Rita's life will be held on May 6, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave. Oregon at 6:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation starting at 5:00 PM. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Nourish Early Learning, Oregon, Ohio
