Rita Benoy Obituary
Rita Lynn Berryhill Benoy, 48, of Spindale, passed away at Hospice of Carolina Foothills on August 25, 2024. She was born April 11, 1976, in Charleston County, South Carolina to Margie Greene Berryhill and the late John Marvin Berryhill.
She is preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Howard Greene and Martha, Johnnie & Jesse Faye Berryhill.
Rita was a hard worker that enjoyed helping others. She had a lot of friends. She loved spending time at the beach. Rita adored her dog, Max.
Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Margie Green Thomas and stepfather, Michael; sons, John Weston Benoy, and Jacob Wyatt Benoy; brothers, John Berryhill (Tina), Eric Berryhill, Andrew Berryhill (Lisa), Zachary Berryhill, and Nicholas Berryhill (Taylor).
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Rita’s Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bret Wiley officiating.
Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
