Rita Sautters Bibb

Rita Bibb went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2025, in Manassas, VA, where she lived out her last years with her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Kevin Lang.
Rita was a resident of Annandale for over 55 years, where she was a wife, mother, friend and homemaker. Additionally, she was employed by the federal government for many years upon graduating from the Washington School for Secretaries. As a proud Navy wife, Rita shared in her husband's commitment to service during the 1950s. She was a graduate of the George Washington High School Class of 1950 in Alexandria, VA.
Rita was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James Bibb, her parents, Pauline and Clarence Sautters, and her sister, Barbara DeVaughn.
Rita will be dearly missed by all family members and friends who knew her. We rejoice in the promise of eternal life.
The family expresses gratitude for the hospice team's compassionate care and support provided, which allowed her to pass peacefully at home. Additional thanks to Comfort Keepers (Prince William County) for the caregiving assistance from the in-home aides.
Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date to be determined.
