Rita Harrington Obituary
Rita D. Harrington, age 77, passed away on January 4, 2024. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on March 18, 1946, to the late William H. Dixon and Margaret J. (Tennant). Rita was a proud graduate of Copley High School and dedicated many years of her life to working as a waitress at the former Vaccero’s Restaurant. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino, especially spending time with her children.
Left to fondly remember Rita are her four children and their respective spouses: William (Kim) Archer, Charles Archer, Margaret Silverstein, and James (Kristen) Harrington. Additionally, she is survived by grandchildren Cody and Kean Archer and two great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 11 am to Noon at Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. A funeral service will follow at Noon. Rita will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sanders Funeral Home at 218 East Nassau Street, East Canton, OH 44730.
