Robbie Franklin France, age 61, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, March 24, 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Robbie was an avid hunter and longtime member of Stonewall Hunt Club in Warsaw. He also was a diehard Chevrolet man and loved his '67 Red Camaro. He loved attending car shows with his friends and family. Robbie worked in construction for many years but most recently enjoyed working with his son, Heath, in the family nursery business. Robbie was extremely proud of Heath's knowledge of the nursery and would brag about him often.
Robbie was a kind soul with a deep love for his friends and family. The visits, long talks, laughs, and shared memories always made him so joyful.
Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Nancy France; his brother, Tony; and his dog, Grady, who was his special sidekick. Robbie is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of almost 40 years, Hope France; his son and business partner, Robert "Heath" France (Ashley); the joy of his life, his grandson, Grafton Brock France; sister, Valerie France Fallin (Edwin), nephew, Brandon Fallin, nieces, Amanda Fallin Stephens (Tyler) and Lauren Fallin; and great-niece, Allie Stephens.
A funeral service for Robbie will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Welcome Grove Baptist Church with Pastor William Armstrong and Reverend Willard Bowen officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in Welcome Grove Baptist Church. The burial will follow the service in the Newland Church of Christ Cemetery.
*Robbie requested that everyone wear casual attire to his funeral. He did not like having to get dressed up himself and definitely did not like wearing a suit. Come as you are!*
