Robert Ray Anderson, 70, beloved husband, father and Poppa passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at his home in Tolar, Texas.

Robert was born on May 7, 1955 to the late Robert Philip and Marjorie Ruth Anderson. On January 3, 1976, Robert married Cindy Harden and together they had two children, Karrie and Thomas. Robert had a passion for woodworking since his youth and was a master craftsman. He especially loved working with black walnut. He also enjoyed outdoor sports including sporting clay shooting. Robert was a person of deep Christian faith. Most of all, he will be remembered for the loving devotion and constant care he had for his family.

Robert is survived by his wife, Cindy, of 49 years; his son, Thomas and wife Autumn; grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Railee and husband Dakota Shirley, and Clark Anderson; great-grandchildren, Remmington and Huntleigh Anderson, Lakelynn and River Shirley; brother, Jim and wife Cindy Anderson; sister, Nelda and husband Mark Johnson; Aunt Mary Anne Ray, sister-in-law Star Lynch, brother-in-law Jason and wife, Janet Hawkins; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and family members.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Karrie Bulger and granddaughter, Alice Bulger.

He had a long working career as an electrician with TU Electric, that started in 1977. He retired as a Supervisor after 42 years.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Martin's Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Morgan St., Granbury, Texas from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with service following at Martin's.

Interment at Holly Hills Memorial Park.

Arrangements under the care of Martin's Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.
