Robert W. Andrew, age 49, a longtime resident of Hudson, NH and formerly of Westford, passed away peacefully at Boston Medical Center on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family due to complications in aftercare following a Thrombectomy.
He was born in Lowell on March 12, 1976, and was the son of William J. Andrew of Staunton, VA and the late Jeanne E. (Cote) Andrew.
Robert was raised in Westford. He was a member of the Westford Academy graduating class of 1994. For the past 22 years, he worked as a mechanical room engineer for Suffolk County Sheriff's Department House of Correction in Boston. He was a longtime member of the Fletcher Club. Robert adored spending time with his two nephews, Ryan and William, like they were his own children. He enjoyed going on hikes, kayaking, fishing, eating at restaurants, grilling, cooking with his Instant Pot and smoker, visiting many places throughout New England, the weekly hangout with the guys, and attending his nephews' sporting events. He was an avid New England sports team and NASCAR fan.
Robert leaves his sister Karen M. (Andrew) Rosa and her husband Thomas Rosa Jr. of Westford, his nephews Ryan J. Rosa-GrothOlson and William T. Rosa both of Westford, as well as many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Jeanne E. Andrew (Cote) of Westford, who passed away on August 31, 1988.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD, MA. His Funeral Service and interment will be held privately at a later date.
