ROCKINGHAM – On Wednesday, 28, 2025, Mr. Robert “Bob” Wilson Driggers, 77, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away peacefully at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Bob was born January 2, 1948, in Anson County, NC and was a son of the late Harry Wilson Driggers and the late Edna Maude Williams Driggers.
He was a graduate of Anson High School and he received a bachelor degree from Gardner Webb University. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War Era. He worked at Sandhills Regional Hospital in Hamlet as radiology manager.
He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Wallace, SC.
Those who are left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Barbara Thompson Driggers; his daughters, Lauren Driggers of Charlotte and Jessica Driggers Kirwin and husband, Kristopher of Rockingham; his brother, Jay Driggers and wife, Jenette of Concord and other family members and friends. in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles H. Driggers.
Bob enjoyed fishing, sitting on his front porch, collecting and competing with black powder rifles and was a real history buff.
Private graveside services will be at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wallace, SC.
