Robert “Bob” Paul Jinks, 63, of Grants Pass died July 1, 2025, in his home. Bob was born on June 6, 1962, in Anaheim, California. His family moved to southern Oregon when he was a child. Bob attended Lincoln Savage Middle School, where he met Lisa Hultquist who would later become his life partner and who cared for him until the end. He also attended North Valley High School.
For the past 20 years, Bob owned his own business, Robert’s Yard & Maintenance, and beautified many homes throughout the Grants Pass area. His friends and clients remember him as a hard worker and creative problem-solver. He was also hard-headed but soft-hearted and very generous.
When not working, Bob was a homebody and an avid reader, and he loved games of chance and collecting. He also enjoyed spending time with Lisa’s grandchildren, Caden, 17, Easten, 16, and Amelia, 8.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, David Jinks of California, his mother, Betty Shute of West Virginia, and his brothers David Jinks, Kirk Jinks, and John Jinks. He is survived by his brother James Jinks and his life partner of 15 years, Lisa Hultquist.
