Robert D. Boucher, 87, of Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at House of the Dove under the caring staff of Compassus Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held for Robert privately at a later date.
Robert was born on March 15, 1937, in Michigan, son of the late, Waldon and Gertrude (Sauers) Boucher. He attended school in Michigan later receiving his GED. On January 26, 1966, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jeanne Marth in Escanaba, MI. Robert worked as a baker for Kraemer's County Market. He was known for his perfected baking skills and creating wonderful and delicious cakes to celebrate those special events in life, including graduations, weddings and anniversaries.
Robert loved traveling and taking tours of lighthouses and spending time visiting with family. He enjoyed his time up north gathered with family and friends at deer camp all while cooking up delicious meals and treats for the hunters.
He will be missed and remembered wholeheartedly by his wife of 59 years, Jeanne Boucher and his sons, Robert Todd Boucher and David Boucher, all of Marshfield; his granddaughter, Jessica Boucher of Sacramento, CA; his grandson, Connor Boucher of Marshfield and his brothers, Lawrence (Loretta) Boucher of Escanaba, MI, Kenneth (Kathy) Boucher of Butter, WI and William Boucher of Rexford, MT. He is further survived by his grandson's loving beagle: Goofy" who we think enjoyed living in Bob's lap as much as Bob loved having him in his lap. Together, they were inseparable!
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Waldon and Gertrude Boucher and a son in infancy.
