Robert "Bob" Broughman

BROUGHMAN, Robert "Bob" Lewis, 85, passed away December 23, 2009. Bob was an Army Staff Sergeant in WWII and was a community merchant for more than 50 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Broughman. Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Fonney Broughman; a daughter and her husband, Yvonne and John Mansini; two sons, David Broughman and his wife, Angela, and Daniel Broughman; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 26, 2009 11 a.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, Va. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the funeral service and the burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
