Robert L. Carte, 24, lost his long battle with addiction on December 22, 2021. He was born in Barberton and loved hunting and fishing. He deeply loved his family, especially his two sisters and brother, as well as his nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Vickie Henderson and Robert Johnson, he is survived by his parents, Helen and Kenneth Carte; siblings, Kayla (Bobby) Croft, Brittany (Josh) Bowers and Daniel Carte (Tori); grandmother, Kay Carte; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305. The funeral service will immediately follow calling hours at 1 p.m. with Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Burial at Glendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home (at the address listed) to assist with funeral expenses.
