ROBERT "BOB" COLLETTE
"Beloved husband, father and grandfather"
Robert "Bob" Collette, age 86, of Debary Florida, formerly of Waterbury Connecticut, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Advent Health Fish Memorial in Orange City, FL. He was the beloved husband of Halcie (Clark) Collette.
Robert was born March 10, 1936 in Waterbury, a son of the late Louis and Louise (Caputo) Collette. Robert had worked as a self employed tile setter for many years. He enjoyed playing sports in his youth, and played softball and golf for many years. He loved traveling, dining out, working in his yard and watching old movies. He was very social and involved with the Knights of Columbus, Elk, and was a Four Townes Moose Lodge member for over 30 years.
Besides his wife Halcie, he leaves his sons, Stephen Collette of Wolcott CT, Joseph Collette of Cheshire CT, and his daughters, Rosanne Collette of Davis, CA and Sharon Bergamo of Cheshire CT. He also leaves three step-children, Glenn Genest of Massachusetts, Carla Rosato of Prospect, CT and Scott Genest of Deltona, FL who was also a close friend and caregiver until his passing.
Arrangements: Funeral services and burial for Bob are going to be private and at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. A memorial service may be planned in the future. Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, is assisting his family with arrangements.
