Robert "Bob" Crimm Jr.

Robert Lee "Bob" Crimm, Jr., of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024. He spent his final moments surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born February 7, 1960, to Boni Neuendorff and Robert Lee Crimm, Sr. in Baltimore, Maryland. Frequently moving during his early years, the family settled in Cedar Park in 1972. He attended Round Rock High School, where he built several lifelong friendships and caused more than his fair share of trouble. After graduating in 1978, he earned an Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology from Southwest School of Electronics.
Wherever Bob went, he brought joy and laughter with him. He had a heart of gold, a quick wit, and an easy smile. He frequently struck up conversations with strangers and made friends wherever he went. He gave frequently and generously, frequently handing coupons to his bemused loved ones. Bob cared deeply for animals, including his beloved dog Honeybee. His love of music was surpassed only by his desire to scavenge through bushes on the golf course to find lost balls. He attended concerts whenever he could. He particularly loved Pink Floyd, Robert Earl Keen, Soundgarden, and The Beatles.
Bob was a complicated man, often unable to love himself the way others did. He struggled with alcohol for many years before getting sober in 2013 – an accomplishment of which he was extremely proud. Among family and friends, Bob was known for his generosity. He found joy in umpiring high school baseball games and coaching his children's youth sports teams. Bob had the heart of a helper, spending several years as his mother's full-time caregiver and providing assistance for his father later in life. He became a meeting facilitator in Austin LifeRing to help others on their journey to sobriety.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Boni Neuendorff, his father, Bob Sr., and his grandparents, Fred Neuendorff and Faye Matheson, and Robert Boyce and Beulah Fay Crimm. He is survived by his children, Jessica Dennis and husband Mike of Round Rock, Texas; Amanda Crimm of Austin, Texas, and Gus Crimm and wife Hillary of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren Cheyenne Dennis and Zachary Dennis; his sister, Kirsten Waters and husband John of Cedar Park, Texas; and numerous friends who will miss him dearly.
