Robert Allan Doak, born August 6, 1969, died from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident March 3, 2022 in Kill Devil Hills, NC. He was 52. Bob was a former lifelong resident of Vermilion, OH. He was preceded in death by his father Allan Doak; his biological mother, Diane Doak; and by his grandparents, James Smith Doak and Irene Doak.

To know Bob "The Doakster" was to love Bob. Bob had a gentle soul and was always there with a smile that could light up a room. He was always the life of the party. Bob worked for many years grilling steaks at the Angry Bull which he considered his second home. He took pride in his work and loved his coworkers and friends as he loved his own family. When you needed a steak cooked right- you could always count on Doak!

He leaves behind his brother, James R. Doak; siblings, Anglea Bozsoki, Brian Clouston, and Christi Howes; step-mothers Cheryl Ortner Stevens and Myra Doak-Hafer; cousins Jeff and Bruce Buchanan, Stephanie Doak-Kingsboro and Jarrod Doak, as well as his aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 at 10 am in his hometown of Vermilion, OH at Trinity Gospel Church. Pastor Josh Budka will officiate. There will be a celebration of Bob's life immediately following at the Angry Bull in Huron, OH. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Bob's GoFundMe account to offset his funeral expenses or to a charity of your choice. Condolences may be shared at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.
