Amazingly, one of Bob's hobbies was piano. Incredibly he was self taught and I believe he played from hearing a song, not by reading music. He had a baby grand piano that he would play beautifully, but only if you asked as he was too modest about his playing abilities to voluntarily play for an audience. I know my Granny was very proud of his playing and loved listening to him play in their home.
