Rob was born February 11, 1965, in Topeka, the son of Charlie and Julie Duran. He attended Elmont Grade School, Northern Hills Junior High School and graduated from Seaman High School in 1983. He worked at Goodyear for many years. Rob loved to ride his Harley-Davidson and was a well-known, talented pool player. He learned mechanics as a young man and always enjoyed working with and fixing mechanical problems.
Survivors include his daughters, Rebeka and Calina; his mother, Julie Duran; sister, Theresa Duran (Paul Miller); brother, Chuck Duran (Shirley); niece, Kaiti Minihan (Dan); grandnephew, Declan; and grandniece, Adelaide; cousins; his former wife, Joani Scribner; and his beloved dog, Panda. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.
Rob's family will greet friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Graveside service will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Let's Help or the United Way, sent in care of the funeral home.

Rob and I shared almost five years together. We enjoyed riding and hanging out with family and friends! On one occasion, we attended the Annual Bike Rally in Sturgis, S. Dakota! He will be sadly missed!
