Robert Owen "Bob" Frey

Robert Owen "Bob" Frey, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN, after a brief illness.
Bob was born on May 10, 1946, in Stroh, IN, to Marshall Franklin and Margaret (Hose) Frey.
He was raised in LaGrange County and graduated from Lakeland High School in 1964. Bob was the youngest of 9 siblings.
Bob retired from the Dometic Corporation in LaGrange after working there for 40+ years, spending most of his years in the receiving department. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He would go anywhere and do anything for any of his kids if asked to. He has indulged in many trips, adventures and outings. He visited many places and experienced many things with them creating unforgettable memories.
On September 24, 1966, in LaGrange County he married Patricia Louise Chapman.
He is survived by his three daughters, Bobbi and Art Bowers of Howe, IN, Crystal and Bruce Boudreau of Hershey, PA and Melissa Keister of Ligonier, IN. He also leaves behind five grandchildren; Allison Bowers Clinton Bowers, Brady Owen Boudreau, Courtney Hall and Margaret (Maggie) Keister; four great grandchildren, Brayden Vasquez, Estella Jo Vasquez, Sawyer Bowers and Wrenli Gayle-Kate Homister; and a sister; Pat Coney, of Stroh, IN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Margaret Frey; his wife, Patricia Louise (Chapman) Frey; and his siblings, Pauline Shumaker, MaryAnn Thompson, Waneta Riner, Donnabelle Frey, Bill Frey, Frank "Hank" Frey and James Frey.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 West Michigan St., LaGrange from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
The Rev. Kenneth Weaver will officiate the services and burial will take place in Woodruff Cemetery, Wolcottville, IN.
