Robert "Bob" E. Geyer, 86, of Mechanicsburg, PA; beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Born in Harrisburg on June 10, 1939, he was the son of the late Albert and Belva (Jeffcoat) Geyer. He graduated from Central Dauphin High School, Class of 1957.

He was married to the love of his life, Anna (Strawhecker) Geyer of Mechanicsburg for nearly 68 years. Bob is survived by his wife, their 3 children, Kelly Geyer Tomczak (husband Tod) of Mechanicsburg, Alan Geyer of Windermere, FL and Craig Geyer (wife Tiffany) of Orlando, FL. Bob loved being a father. He coached his sons' little leagues and was an honorary Girl Scout troop leader. He passed his love of dogs as well as card games and board games (which he would master prior to Christmas) to his children and created lifelong memories while teaching them how to do flips into the pool and how to drive a stick shift. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Micaela Iphys (Emily), Kevin Geyer (Jennie), Ryan Geyer (Crystal), and Morgan Geyer Lee (Mark); six great grandchildren; and sister Joyce Raffensberger. Sister Dolores Costanza preceded him in death in 2020.

Bob served in the 28th Infantry Division of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Bob retired from Sutliff Chevrolet after over 40 years of service. He was a founding member of the West Creek Lions Club and West Creek Volunteer Fire Company. Bob loved the Harrisburg Senators for whom he served many years as an usher. He was a lifelong hockey fan cheering for the Hershey Bears. Bob volunteered for Ronald McDonald House Hershey and the Salvation Army. He spent many happy hours cruising Codorus Lake on his pontoon boat with his wife and dogs.

Bob was a founding member of the former Chapel Hill United Church of Christ (Camp Hill). He was a member of Mt Zion United Methodist Church (Enola) where he sang in the choir, was part of the bell choir, and served as a Trustee.

Contributions in Bob's memory can be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central PA, 745 W Governor Rd, Hershey, PA 17033 or Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region, 506 S 29th St, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
