Robert Daniel "Dan" Hood, aged 54, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2024 in Morrison, CO. Dan was born on July 24, 1970, in Lynchburg, VA, to James Thomas "Tom" Hood and Judy Lynn Hull Hood. He was a 1989 graduate of Radford High School and a 2003 graduate of Guilford College. Dan also earned a master's degree in organizational psychology from Radford University. He married Maggie Mae Montgomery on October 31, 2018, in Nashville, TN. Dan was a resident of Evergreen, CO and enjoyed going on mountain biking adventures all over the US and Canada. He is survived by his wife, Maggie Mae Montgomery; mother Judy Hood (Steve Shaffer); and father Tom Hood (Sandra Jessee Hood); and many wonderful friends. There will be no formal service. Dan and I lived on the same hall our freshman year at Guilford. Dan was one of the most genuine individuals i've ever met; he truly one of the good ones and will be greatly missed. Sending love.... Claude
