Robert W. "Bob" Jeffers, 76, of Burrell Township, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at his home.

Born September 6, 1948, he was a son of the late Charles Jeffers & Ruth (Miller) Jeffers Bryan.

Bob was a graduate of Duquesne High School, and served our country with the United States Army for a total of 20 years.

During his service, he was a Supply Sergeant of White House Communications for eight years. Bob then worked as a custodian for Apollo-Ridge High School for six years before retiring in 2010.

Bob was an active member of Cochran's Mill United Methodist Church. He served as the former President of the Church Board and as the Secretary of the Church. Bob was also a member of the Ford City American Legion Post #945. He enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles, bowling, and wood-working.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Trout & Paul Trout.

Bob is survived by his sisters-in-law, Joanne Trout of Sparta, WI; Sandy Trout of Burrell Township; his nieces, Samantha and Sara; his nephew, Chris; and his long-time friend, Amy (David) Gasbarro of Burrell Township.

At Bob's request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends will be welcome to a memorial service at Cochran's Mill United Methodist Church, 2571 Garretts Run Road, Ford City, on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Terry Trudgen officiating. Following the services, military honors will be accorded by the Armstrong County Memorial Honor Guard. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the church.
