Robert P. Kailher

Robert P. Kailher, born April 28, 1945, in Boston, MA, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Robert grew up in Hanson, MA, and was a proud 1964 graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School and a 1969 graduate of Arizona State University.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Roberta Kailher; his children, Chris Kailher (Sharon) of Rumford, RI; Matthew Kailher of Plymouth, MA; Stephanie Vergakis (Theodore) of Westport, CT; Daniel Kailher (Jenith) of Duxbury, MA; Laura Wagner (Josef) of Plymouth, MA; and his cherished grandchildren Ben, Isabel, Theo, Aleko, Aidan, Olivia, Liam, Owen, Ava, Sofia, Alex, and Layla.
An accountant by profession, Robert's greatest joy was his family. He loved gathering for family dinners and attending his grandchildren's events. Robert and his wife, Roberta, cherished time spent with their closest friends. As an accomplished woodworker, he made many fine pieces of furniture for himself, friends, and family.
Robert was a warm and caring person, known for his honesty, hard work, and deep dedication to his family.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 9th, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Sullivan Funeral Homes, 2 Maquan Street, Corner Route 14&58, Hanson, MA. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 10th, at 11:00 AM at Holy Apostles Parish (St. Joseph the Worker) 1 Maquan Street, Route 14, Hanson. Burial will be held at a later date.
