Robert G. Kennemer Sr.

Robert G. Kennemer, Sr. entered eternal rest on May 19, 2025 the age of 79. He was born on April 26, 1946 in Edinburg, Texas to D.L. and Wynema (Plemons) Kennemer.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Barbara Koenning and her husband James, Carol Pilkington and her husband Chuck; brother Jack Kennemer and his wives Kay and Patti. Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 58 years, Dottie (Brooks) Kennemer; daughter, Kathryn Hemming and husband Shawn; son, Robert Jr. and his wife Kelli; grandchildren, Trey Kennemer and his wife Leighann, Timothy Kennemer, Faith Hemming, Hayley Owens and her husband Jason, Jacklyn Hemming and her husband Mason, and Hannah Kennemer; great-grandchildren, Alyson and Kaitlyn Kennemer, Stetson and Bronson Owens; numerous other loving family members and friends.
He enjoyed fishing and spending his free time at lake Corpus Christi. He enjoyed telling numerous jokes even though some were repeated and sometimes made no sense. He also enjoyed eating a patty melt or a double meat burger from whataburger with a large glass of root beer. He enjoyed his family and deep conversations with his relatives and closest friends. He will be deeply missed and cherished by all family and friends. Your memory will live forever Papa.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with a chapel service to begin at 12:30 P.M. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South.
