92, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation, Cranston. He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine D. (LaFrance) LeBrun.
Robert was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and then went on to serve in the US Navy during the Korean War. After his military service, he worked as a process control consultant for the Foxboro Co. for many years before retiring. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #2359.
Robert is survived by his loving children, Jeanne Courtemanche and her husband Joe of Mansfield, MA, Robert J. LeBrun, Jr. of Brockton, MA, Donna DiCicco and her husband Nicholas of Warwick, and Valerie Jacavone and her husband Peter, Jr. of Johnston. He is also survived by his eight cherished grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Claire Poirier of Enfield, CT, Richard O. LeBrun of Taunton, MA, and Irene Vallancourt of Enfield, CT.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston. Burial will be private. Visting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Robert Bellarmine Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
