He was a loving husband to Alice Molchan and the late Ellen (Shreiber) Molchan. Robert was a graduate of Allentown High School in 1958. He then served in the U.S. Marine Corp for four years including two years aboard the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid. Robert spent much of his work career at Mack Trucks in Allentown before retiring in 2003. He remained active throughout his life, enjoying baseball, golf, and bowling. He is survived by his daughters- Jacqueline Wister and Barbara Molchan, stepson- Joseph Scavo and his wife Linda, granddaughters- Afton Howard and her husband Mike and Coryn Figueroa and her husband Matt, great grandchildren- Abraham, Adalynn, Atticus and Augustus, brothers- Stephen, Thomas and James.

Bob would like to thank all the wonderful friends he met who supported him and to all his special friends he leaves: C'est Ma Chanson (This is My Song).

He would be so touched to have those who knew and loved him, join us for a heartfelt Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 27th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM in the social hall at St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, 924 N. Front St., Allentown, PA 18102. Military Honors will take place outside of the church at 1:30PM followed by a formal lunch. Arrangements are entrusted to Kohut Funeral Home, Inc.
