Robert Lee "Butch" Morrison

Robert L Morrison, age 68 was born on September 1, 1956 in Bessemer,AL. He passed away on January 1, 2025 at UAB St. Vincent's hospital. He was known to family and friends as Butch, a nickname his father gave him. He had a close bond to his father and loved to go hunting and fishing with him as a child. As he grew older, he developed a friendship with David aka "Red" and Dennis that in return gave many unforgettable memories for a lifetime. He was married three times in his life which brought him two children of his own, and four bonus children that he treated as if they were his own. As each marriage was meaningful to him, his marriage to Tammy changed his whole life, they shared a total of 28 years together.He never met a stranger anywhere he went, his contagious laugh and silly personality made him stand out in a crowd. He was a dedicated Nascar fan, loved listening/singing to music,and had a passion for classic cars. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Nellie Morrison; Wife, Tammy Morrison; Brother, Roy Morrison; Sister, Patricia Pennington; Grandchild, Curtis Chase Sparks. He is survived by his siblings, David Morrison, Carol Trammell, Bonnie Laminack (R.C.), Wanda Roberts (Robert); Brother-in-law, Benji Bishop; Children, Scotty Morrison (Ashley), Shane Sparks (Toni), Tonya Wallace (Timothy), Torri Roy, Harley Gallinari (Tera), Joy Gallinari; Grandchildren, Brayden Morrison, Keele Algoe, Katelin Algoe, Blake Algoe, Summer Holder, Lexie Thompson, Devin Roy (Audrey), Michael Grace-Bishop, Ethan Bruce, Paige Graves (David), Tessa Nail, Maleigha Nail, Harlie Ward, Payton Ward, Austin Gallinari, and Amelia Gallinari. He loved each of you with all his heart and most of all his sweet thing.
