Robert "Bob" F. Presto Robert Presto, 75 of Chesterfield, Michigan passed away suddenly on September 21, 2025 at home. Born on May 15, 1950 to Ralph and LaDonna Presto in Monroe, Michigan. He was a man of faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, daughters Andrea (Dave) Kunkel and Stephanie (Brian) Miller. He loved his grandchildren David and Samantha Kunkel and Claire and Lucy Miller dearly. He is also survived by his Aunt Sandy May, brothers; Charles (Karen) Presto and Ralph (Terri) Presto, sister Debbie Bross, and brother-in-law Denny D'Haene, along with many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter Victoria Hope Miller, his sister Barbara D'Haene and brother-in-law, Tom Bross. Bob graduated from Monroe Catholic Central High School. He received a business degree from the University of Detroit and a Masters degree from Central Michigan University. He worked as a Human Resource Director at several medical centers. In retirement Bob, "Pa" was blessed with a second career caring for his grandchildren David and Samantha. Bob was a great cook and enjoyed preparing Sunday meals for his family. His grandchildren especially enjoyed Pa's desserts. Bob and his wife Nancy were married on August 24, 1973 and enjoyed 52 wonderful years together. They lived out their Catholic faith as active members of St. Mary Queen of Creation Church in New Baltimore for many years until becoming members of St. Hubert Parish. At St. Mary's they volunteered as greeters and were Eucharistic Ministers for decades. As a couple they chaired their parish festival for 25 years! Bob's volunteerism continued with many years of service as a member of the Anchor Knights of Columbus Council 5981, including having served as Grand Knight. Bob loved bowling, softball and golf. His most memorable day of golf was September 29, 2021 when he had a hole in one at Cracklewood Golf Course. Rich Molnar, his golfing buddy, captured the photo and Bob always said that Rich was more excited to witness the hole in one than he was. One of the many cherished memories of Bob was his unwavering love for his family. In recent years he introduced his love for golf to his grandson David. This shared activity strengthened their bond and brought Bob great joy! His granddaughter Sammy enjoyed sharing the homemade treats Pa prepared for her after school. She treasures her memories of the summer afternoons she spent swimming with Pa. Despite the distance that separated them, Bob made it a point to connect with his granddaughter Claire through regular video calls. For Claire's 3rd birthday he was thrilled to be able to take her shopping for her 1st bike. In March of this year, Bob and Nancy were able to travel to Oregon for the birth of their newest grandchild, Lucy. Bob was always planning his next trip to spend time with his daughter Stephanie and her family. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
