Robert Preston Obituary
Born March 26, 1958 in Norfolk, he was a son of Evelyn (Readel) Preston of Norfolk and the late Harold Preston.
Robert has been a resident of North Attleboro for the past 34 years. He grew up in Norfolk and was a graduate of King Philip Regional High School in 1976.
He worked as a tool making supervisor for over twenty years to Texas Instruments and EMS in Attleboro before retiring due to illness in February.
Robert was an avid rock hound, collecting various rock samples over many years and was also an avid skier. He was an exceptional soccer coach for teams in North Attleboro and also was a talented craftsman who loved building and trade work.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter Coryne N. Preston of Florida and a son Nicholas T. Preston of Newport, RI; two sisters: Joanne Collins of Norton and Debbie Chamberlain of Colorado and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro on Thursday, July 12 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the National Kidney Foundation, c/o Finance Dept., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or to the American Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford Street, Providence, RI 02903.
