Robert L. Ragain, age 77, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at his home. He was born July 23, 1947, in Upton, Missouri, a son of the late Ruell and Bernice (Baker) Ragain.
On December 10, 1988, in Laurie, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Belinda (Tortorice) Ragain.
Bob was a United States Army veteran proudly serving his country in Vietnam.
He was a member of the American Legion Zack Wheat Post 624 in Sunrise Beach where he enjoyed spending his weekends participating in the turkey shoots.
Bob loved spending time outdoors, especially while gardening and fishing.
He loved his family and treasured the time he spent with them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, Belinda, he is survived by his children, Christopher Ragain and wife Christine of Naples, Florida and Sara Carlin and husband Chuck of Estero, Florida; granddaughter, Emma Ragain; brothers, Lonnie Ragain and friend Georgene of Camdenton, Missouri and Larry Ragain and wife Peggy of Idaho; sisters, Bonnie Ragain of Springfield, Missouri and Wanda Moore and husband Lynn of Cabool, Missouri and many other relatives and friends.
A private family interment will be held in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, Missouri. A celebration of Bob's life with full military honors will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 6th, at the American Legion Zack Wheat Post 624 in Sunrise Beach. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Zack Wheat Post 624.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
