It is with great love and deep sorrow that we share the passing of

Robert R. Scheirer

Robert (Robbie/Bob) R. Scheirer on June 13, 2025, just a month shy of his 82nd birthday. Born on July 11, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robert was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, loyal friend, and a man of deep faith and quiet strength.

Robert graduated from South Vocational High School in Pittsburgh in 1962 and soon after moved with his family to Ontario, California. In 1964, he proudly enlisted in the United States Navy and served honorably with the Seabees in the Construction Battalion. After completing his service, Robert returned home in 1966 and began a go-year career with GTE, where he met the love of his life, Linda. They began dating in February 1970 and were married later that year on November 28 - a beautiful union that lasted 55 years!

Together, Robert and Linda built a loving home and welcomed two children:

Margaret (Peggy) Helen in 1971 and Raymond Robert in 1972. After retiring from GTE, Robert chose to continue working and spent 1o more years serving the Chaffey Joint Union High School District as a phone repair technician.

In 2008, Robert and Linda moved to a retirement community where they developed cherished friendships and enjoyed a fulfilling life. Robert enjoyed camping with his family and he especially loved playing golf with his buddies Tom, Dennis, and Pete-dear companions who, we imagine, have been waiting for him at heaven's 19th hole!

A devout Catholic, Robert was generous in spirit and in giving. He faithfully supported his parish and contributed to causes close to his heart, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Linda; his daughter Peggy Castro and son-in-law Chance; his son Raymond Scheirer and daughter-in-law Jennifer; his treasured grandchildren Kyle, Derek, Ryan, Riane, Devin,

Edward, Kathrine, and Amanda:

and his adored great-grandchildren Chance, Ezekiel, Kinsley, and Carter.

He also leaves behind his baby brother Keith Scheirer, his two older sisters Norma Bancale and Audrey LaSalle, and his best friend Larry Bianchini.

Robert now joins his parents, Edward and Margaret, and his brother Edward in

eternal rest.

His legacy of hard work, love for his family, quiet generosity, and unwavering

faith lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
