Robert "Bob" Carl Scheu, of Prospect, passed away on December 24, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Janice F. Scheu; his two sons: Rob C. Scheu, Jr; Micah A. Scheu (Beth); his daughter: Andrea M. Scheu-Worrix (Robert); and two sisters: Carol A. Kokomoor and Janet L. Maurer. He was the best Papa to four beloved grandchildren: Teagan, Hayden, Camden, and Ariel.
Bob spent almost 50 years as the graphic artist for Little Brownie Bakers in Louisville, where he named several of the beloved Girl Scout cookies, designed famous cookie characters, created the artwork for cookie packaging, apparel, patches, and award incentives. He also conceptualized the original Girl Scout Cookie Program and Gift of Caring Program.
Bob also spent several years working as a talented videographer for many theatre companies and dance studios in the Louisville area.
Beyond his artistic abilities, he could design and build anything and everything and was famous for all his outdoor holiday displays.
He had a love for all animals, never met a person he couldn't speak to for hours, loved watching old westerns, and cherished his time fishing on his boat. However, his favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren and he was incredibly proud of each of them and their talents.
Visitation will be 3:00 to 6:00 pm Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd, 40243 "In Middletown". Funeral Services and Burial will be private for the family only.

He was always such a kind person. He always had a great Halloween display and was so nice. So sad to see that he has passed. He will be missed.
