Robert "Bob" Schwab

Robert H. "Bob" Schwab, 91 was born on May 25, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025 at his home in Libertyville, Illinois. Bob was a beloved husband to his wife Martha M. (nee McCutchen) Schwab of 69 years, loving father to his daughters Kris (Jeff) Kroll and Kari (Keith) Tobin, grandfather to Patrick (Rajashree) Kroll, Katie (Dylan) Berry, Ryan Kroll, Jack Tobin, Annie Tobin and Grace Tobin, and great grandfather to Maverick & Jett Berry.
Bob was a 1956 graduate of Wabash College, where he played football for four years, was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and was very proud of his days as a "Little Giant". He joined Walgreens immediately after graduation where he worked for forty years until retirement. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Whether taking camping trips, sailing, or spending time in Door County, he was always with a four-legged friend at his side. Bob loved to work around the home he built, and watercolor painting and wood carving became a treasured art in his retirement that will always be cherished by family.
