Robert was the youngest of 5 children born to the late Zenna and Glen Tacia.
He married Wanda F. Pringle on May 21st, 1966 who preceded him in death after 45 years of marriage in 2012.
Robert was born and raised in Port Huron, MI. He graduated from Port Huron High School in 1962. He entered the United States Marine Corps in July 1962 and was honorably discharged in 1964 to care for his mother.
He worked for Michigan Bell Telephone/AT&T for 25 years in various positions as well as Meijer for another 10 years. During his life, he was a musician for about 40 years, as a Drummer for the New Reformation Jazz Band.
He is survived by his son Michael (Kate) Tacia. He is preceded in death by his son Robert E. Tacia, sisters Mavis & Jeanne, and brothers Maxwell & Charles.
Honoring Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and interment of ashes will commence.
