Robert Kenneth Tuskey, 70, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
He was born February 21, 1953, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Ken & Eileen (Jablonski) Tuskey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, several aunts & uncles, and in-laws, James & Esther Gamble.
Bob was a 1971 graduate of John Marshall High School and attended West Virginia University.
He was a well-respected, 38 year employee of AEP and in his latter years, worked at Cook Nuclear Power Plant in Michigan. He was known for his strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
Bob was an active member of the Osiris Shrine, Scottish Rite, and Marshall Union Lodge #8.
Bob was raised Russian Orthodox. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He was an avid reader, with a passion for History, and loved cheering on the Mountaineers.
Bob is survived by his wife, Shelley Gamble Tuskey; 2 daughters, Natalie Perry (Jeff) & Ashley Tuskey (Ray); sister, Deborah Gibson; brother, Douglas Tuskey; aunt, Mary Ann Hedges; 3 sisters-in-law, Sherry, Cindy & Amy Gamble; grandson, Isaac Perry; niece, Lauren Lueders; and nephew, Richie Doney.
Friends will be received for memorial visitation on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 1-5 pm at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 (304-242-2311).
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Shriner's Children's Hospitals (donate.lovetotherescue.org) or the Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling, 1610 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
