Bobby Wilkerson, 72, of Daviess County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on February 20, 1953, Robert spent his life working hard to provide for those he loved. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose generosity and warmth left a lasting mark on everyone he met. Robert never met a stranger - his sense of humor and big heart made him beloved by all who knew him. He loved to tease the people he loved most and took joy in lifting others up.

Robert had a passion for cooking and found great happiness in feeding family, friends, and anyone in need. He was always the first to offer a helping hand and never hesitated to support others however he could.

He is preceded in death by his father, William C. Wilkerson; mother, Georgia Mae Wilkerson; father-in-law Robert P. Aud; mother-in-law Pauline (Dunnie) Aud; granddaughter, Bailey Grace Ralph; and brother, Larry Wilkerson.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Medra Wilkerson; daughters Bridget Ralph (Jason Ralph) and Aliena Ray (Michael Ray); Grandkids Laka Ling, Atticus Ralph, Jayla Ray and Kaleb Ray and a host of extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

A graveside service to honor Bobby's life will be held Saturday, Aug. 23 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family and celebrate Bobby's life at his daughter's home; 7912 Haynes Station Road, Whitesville, KY following the graveside till 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
