Robert Howard Williams Jr., 66, of Madison Parish, Louisiana, died in
Wichita Falls, Texas, of natural causes on December 16th, 2025.
Bob was born on a cold December morning on the 4th at 1:22 AM in
Vicksburg, Mississippi in 1959 to Robert Howard Williams Sr. Of Mize, Mississippi, Smith County and Gloria Nannette Clyburn Williams of Hermanville, Mississippi, Claiborne County.
Bob was best known as "Moose" or "Bullet Bob". He graduated from Riverfield Academy and later studied Secondary Education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He worked as a Special Education teacher in Louisiana and Oklahoma.
Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He loved to entertain and make people laugh; he was an amazing storyteller. He felt most at home surrounded by his friends and family. He loved sports and especially football. Bob enjoyed the sport so much, he played football in high school as an offensive left tackle, and he and his teammates won the state championship in 1978. He also threw the discus in track and field and played percussion in the band.
Bob's hobbies included woodworking and building anything with his hands, growing a variety of plants, genealogy, birdwatching and building artistic and unique bird sanctuaries. He also enjoyed researching his family roots and attending family reunions.
Bob was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He never passed an opportunity to share his testimony with everyone. He served a two-year mission for the Massachusetts, Boston and Connecticut, Harvard mission field. He also worked for the church for many years as a custodial and maintenance worker. He loved to attend the temple. He was sealed to his wife and children in the Dallas, Texas temple for all time and eternity.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Howard Williams Sr. and Gloria Nannette Clyburn Williams, sister Edna Louise Williams, father-in-law William Henry Long III and mother-in-law Janice Helon Rodgers Long. Bob is survived in death by his sisters, Gloria Ann Patrick, Francis Williams and Evelyn Bonita Williams Magby (Douglas).
Bob is survived in death by his eternal companion, Janice Long Williams; eldest daughter Holly Jan Williams Foy and Richard Jeremy Foy, children Jesse Tyler Foy and Savannah Brooke Foy; oldest son Robert Denny Williams and Jamie Post Williams, children Gordon Denny Williams (Grace Topper Williams), Madeline Reese Williams, Lily Ashlyn Williams (Trey Ashton); daughter Heather Ann Williams Collins and Brian Russell Collins; daughter Heidi Marie Williams and Nathan Allen Jones; daughter Amanda Williams and Corey Kennedy, their children Corey Joseph Kennedy, Maddox Alexzander Williams, Ammon Gabriel Williams, Elijah Ryan Kennedy and Christopher Isaiah Kennedy; son John Henry Williams and Amira Williams, children Eris Ivory Williams and Lenna Claire Williams. Also survived by one aunt, Winnie Twiner Biddleman, two uncles, Wyly Joe Twiner and Sonny Twiner, special nephew Joseph Hyram Patrick, niece Rebecca Jeanette Barnett and many other nieces and nephews, friends, acquaintances and church family.
