Robert “Bob” Lawrence Worley, 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 19, 2025. Bob was born September 22, 1946, to Clyde Worley and Hilah (Miller) Worley.
Bob dedicated 52 years of his life working for Kroger, where his strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He had a true passion for cooking and was an excellent chef, always sharing his creations with family and friends. Bob gave generously of his time through volunteering, always willing to lend a helping hand to others. At home, he found joy in tending to his yard and caring for his beloved kitty kids. Bob’s kindness, hard work, and love will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Linda Worley; children Christopher (Sharon) Worley, Antonio (Amy) Dominic Worley; siblings Sandra, Marilyn, Carolyn, Sharon, Anita, and Junior; grandchildren Nicholas, Jennifer, Corri, Allessandra, Antonio Jr.; great-grandchildren Landon, Jaxson, Madilyn, Grayson, Emmy; and close friends Bryant Clayton, Brad Thomas, and Joseph Mgboh.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde Worley, and Hilah (Miller) McDonald; and his siblings Tony, and Dottie.
Visitation for Bob will take place Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm.
