Born on July 24, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, Roberta was the beloved daughter of Sidney Johnson and Jeannette Johnson. She graduated from Linden McKinley High School and went on to become a dedicated mother, grandmother, and sister. Roberta had a heart full of love and compassion, always offering a helping hand to those in need.

She had a deep love for cooking and often enjoyed watching her favorite movies, such as Indiana Jones. Her most cherished moments were spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Roberta could frequently be found with her can of Coke in hand, enjoying the simple pleasures of life like chatting with her mom, kids and siblings.

Roberta was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Johnson; her brother, Tony Johnson; and her grandparents, Bob and Jenny Bryant. She is survived by her sons, Keith and Kevin (Brenda); her grandchildren, Keith Eric, A’Kyra Tyler, Manny, Zhané, Dai'jouré, Taéyon, Noah, and Caleb; her mother, Jeannette Johnson; her brothers, Sidney, Harry, and Michael; her sisters, Annette and Connie; her daughter-in-law, Brenda; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
