Robin B. Cutchin, a longtime resident of Cumming, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her residence surround by her loving family. Robin was born on May 18, 1970 in Atlanta, one of three children, to Bruce and Connie (Allen) Brady.
She graduated from Mt. Vernon Academy Class of 1988 and attended Samford University graduating in 1993 with a master's degree in early childhood education. As a high school student, Robin participated in Chapel Choir at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church where she established a lifelong love for music. After her graduation from Samford, Robin worked in a variety of public and private school systems and volunteered as a Sunday School teacher at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church.
Robin married Lyle on June 29, 1996, and she devoted the next many years creating a loving home where together they raised their three children. She remained devoted to her family, which together with her faith, served as the center of her life. She was a member of North Point Community Church, and later Browns Bridge Church in Cumming where she taught four-year-olds for twenty years. During this time she also held jobs in local daycare and retail establishments.
Robin demonstrated tremendous strength and courage as she endured a series of surgeries to combat persistent brain tumors that afflicted her for most of her life. In spite of the physical deterioration engendered by her condition and the surgeries, Robin always celebrated her Christian faith, treasured her family, and offered a ready smile for everyone.
