Robin Lutz Obituary
Robin was born October 28, 1969, in Akron, to John and Lois (Arnold) Gardner. She was a 1988 graduate of Orrville High School. On September 15, 2019, she married Russell Lee Lutz in Wooster. Russell preceded her in death on August 11, 2022.
Robin worked as a licensed practical nurse at JAG Healthcare Burbank Park, where she was known for her compassion and dedication to those in her care.
She had a fondness for collecting salt and pepper shakers, was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and deeply loved her fur babies - a cat, four dogs, a raccoon, and three birds. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting guns. Robin will be especially remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and the laughter she shared with others.
She is survived by her mother, Lois Gardner of Orrville; daughter, Candace Duffield of Apple Creek; son, Emmet (Makayla) Hyker of Wooster; stepchildren, Brittany Lutz and Russell Lee Lutz Jr., both of Ashland; grandchildren, Kaileena, Quentin, and Ryker; step-grandchildren, Serenity, Cody, Autumn, and Ray Lynn; fiancé, Tony Simmons of Orrville; sister, Tina Gardner of Orrville; and brother, Michael Elliott of North Dakota.
In addition to her husband, Russell, she was preceded in death by her father, John Howard Gardner, and her brother, Donald Warren Gardner.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville.
