Robin Lea (Strob) Phillips, age 63, of Kingston, NH, formerly of
Wilmington, MA, passed away on September 23, 2025, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Robin was born on March 26, 1962, and grew up in Wilmington. After graduating from Wilmington High School in 1980, she attended Endicott College in Beverly. She graduated from Endicott in 1984 and attended the Culinary Institute of America in 1996.
Robin began her professional career as a dental office manager in 1984; she worked until moving to Florida in 1993, where she found her passion in the Food & Beverage and event planning industry.
Robin returned to Massachusetts in 2016 after the passing of her sister, Kim, to be with her dad, family, and friends.
Robin met the "love of her life", Jim Phillips, on September 8, 2018; a single Dad with three daughters. They built a life, a home, and a family. Robin had found her "happy."
Robin was a lady's auxiliary member of the Wilmington American Legion Post 136, as well as an avid supporter of the American Veterans organizations. She was a huge fan of all the New England sports teams, especially the Patriots.
Robin will be remembered for the love of her family and friends; she was always the one that showed up with a gift, a card, or something special. She was the sunshine of every day for anyone. If you were lucky enough to have met Robin, you became a forever friend and even family. She always wanted to "do the right thing." She was always kind, caring, and thought of everyone's happiness.
Robin was the dear daughter of the late Timothy E. Strob and Roberta "Bobbi" A. Strob, loving sister of the late baby Lisa Strob and the late Kimberly A. Strob, granddaughter of the late William and Olive Strob and the late James and Barbara Aylward.
Robin is survived by her husband, James E. Phillips and his children, Stephanie L. Doherty & her husband Jay, Kerri A. Phillips, and Kristen M. Mansur & her husband Keith. Robin loved being a "Nana" to Calvin and Ben. She is also survived by her companion dog, Bennie.
Robin was the beloved niece of the late Naomi Landry & her husband Ray, William & Pam Strob, the late Joseph & Edith Strob, Ruth Ann Sampson & her late husband Kenneth, Jack & Linda Strob, and the late Barbara O'Brien & her husband Nick.
Robin will be remembered by her loving cousins Carl, Michael and Steven Abell, Debbie, Connie, and Brian Strob, Tim Sampson, Deanna Sampson Marzolini, Ed Sampson, Linda Sampson Bonney, Charlotte, Anthony and Billy Strob, Jay Strob, Ginnie Sampson Paiva, Eric Strob, Jesse O'Brien, and the late Ray Landry, Jr.
Robin is also survived by her dear friends, Judi Duggan and Mary Ellen Steen Deschenes, as well as many loving friends and her work family at Seurat in Wilmington.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Tuesday, September 30th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will take place in the Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, on Wednesday, October 1st at 11:00 a.m. All are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 112 Middlesex Ave. (directly behind St Thomas Church), on Wednesday, October 1st from 12:00-4:00 p.m.
