It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Robin C. Stout, who was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, on April 22, 1964. Robin, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, left us on December 29, 2024. He spent his entire life in the place he loved so much, growing up in the village of Biron. Robin was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was never married and devoted his life to his work, his family, and his beloved pet Abby. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1983 and joined the Copps/Pick n Save grocery store where he worked for an impressive 40 years in the produce department. His hard work and dedication were well known and respected. His retirement in 2023 marked the end of an era, and his friends and colleagues still speak of him with fondness.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Constance Stout; his brother, Douglas (Kathryn) Stout, his brother-in-law James Shafman, his nephews, Josh (Laurie) Shafman and their children, Nolan, Reed and James; his nephew Jacob Stout and his daughter Emmy; his niece, Emilie (Mike) Duffy and their children, Cadence and Kyla; Amber (Matt Wilhelm) Stout and their children Miley, Loretta, and Matthew Jr; and Tess (Matthew) Schoff and their children Zayde, Ellie and Colt.
Robin was preceded in death by his sister, Fawn Shafman, his grandparents, Margaret and Clifford Stout, Mildred and Clarence Melbye, and his special pet, Abby. Each of them held a unique place in Robin's heart, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robin's life was one of quiet dedication and love for those around him. He will be remembered for his work ethic, his love for his family, and his quiet, gentle nature. We invite everyone who knew Robin to share their memories, stories, and photos on his memorial page as a tribute to his life. It is in these shared moments that we can all find comfort, remember Robin's unique spirit, and celebrate the life he lived.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date

All the time actually, we worked closely and he always had a good sense of humor.

When I was MOD I was always happy to be closing with Robin. I knew not only would his department have a good close but if I needed any help in the back room Robin would be the first to volunteer. Many of times he helped me out of literal jams with that compactor.
